My name is Joel Villalba (he/him/his) and I am a Public Benefits and Insurance Navigator at Whitman-Walker Health since 2019.

  • My name is Joel Villalba (he/him/his) and I have worked as a Public Benefits and Insurance Navigator at Whitman-Walker Health since 2019. My goal is to help people enroll into healthcare and connect them with resources to access any medical and dental benefits they may be eligible to receive because I believe having health care coverage is a human right. We work closely with folks on screening them for insurances they qualify for and walk through it with them every step of the way. If you or someone you know living in DC, MD or VA is looking for insurance, please get connected with Public Benefits at Whitman-Walker so we can help make that process as easy as possible.
